Finestpreps.com headed up north last week to visit our Canadian neighbors and came across a prospect whose name has been floating around the basketball recruiting circles for quite some time. Who is the prospect who is being compared to the likes of LBJ, KG, and the Black Mamba coming out of high school?
Canadians are known for their laid back attitudes and passion hockey, but now Canadians may start to pay a little bit more attention to the game of basketball. Major talent is beginning to emerge from our neighbors up top and the cover boy of this movement is Andrew Wiggins.
Wiggins, a 15 yr old 6’7 190 pound small forward whose father is a former NBA player and mother a former Olympic sprinter is considered the best player in the world in the Class of 2014. Wiggins has transferred to hoop powerhouse Huntington Prep, known for their Canadian pipeline to raise his level of play and hold his spot as top dog in Class of 2014. If your ever in Huntington, WV be sure to try to catch a game. You may be watching a future NBA Legend.
