Preps.com is starting to find our way into the Ohio State recruiting world and after the Buckeyes Friday Night Lights our good friend @jbook kept us posted on what all had happened.
Last night we released our version of Eric Glover William’s highlight tape and after checking out Jerome Baker’s tape we just couldn’t hold back from releasing his shortly after. 247sports writer Steve Wiltfrong attended the event and said that Baker may have been the most impressive kid at the camp.
As soon as we tossed on the tape the first person that came to mind was former Ohio State linebacker, Dorian Bell. Bell now an All- American at Duquesne and considered by many to be one of the top prospects in this years draft class, had all the same tools Baker shows at a young age.
Probably the most impressive part of Baker’s game is the intensity that he plays with at such a young age. His change of direction is phenomenal and he runs through ball carriers. He also shows some ability as a ball carrier, but this kid will be putting food on his plate playing on the defensive side of the ball
For this kid the sky is the limit and we wouldn’t be surprised if he became a top 5 linebacker in the country. Enjoy his tape and be sure to follow @finestpreps and visit Preps.com for more updates on the Class of 2015 prospects this fall. Enjoy
