The Buckeye nation is fired up and rightfully so.  Coming off an undefeated season, the Buckeyes are loaded up with talent all over the field.  With Carlos Hyde presumably dodging a bullet, Urban now has all his horses and  can show everyone in the country what he came to do in the CO.

Meyer is loaded in so many areas, with a herd of backs, a super star QB, and a secondary and defensive line second to none, Ohio State fans have lots to be excited about.

After chatting it up with our good friend @jbook we realized the OSU receiving core was not only talented, but crowded.  Don’t be surprised if these guys start competing early in camp trying to fight for top baller supremacy.

The leader of the group, Massillon graduate Devin Smith, is considered by many the most talented, due to his ridiculous athletic ability and size.  Having all the tools necessary to be a big time receiver, Smith gets some of the weight off his shoulder with the help of running mate “Philly Brown.”  Brown is the kind of guy we love over here at Preps.com, with blazing speed and elusiveness, Brown has that SEC speed, Urban was used to down in Gainesville.

Fortunately for Meyer and the Buckeye nation “Philly” Brown has some competition as biggest playmaker on the offense this year.  With three incoming newbies in freshman Dontre Wilson, Jalin Marshall, and Akron Buchtel super star Corey Smith, the scarlet and grey have some young playmakers that may not be willing to sit back and watch the upperclassmen eat.

Along with Western Pa native, Jordan Hall back in the mix, Braxton Miller has a diverse group of weapons that could land him in the National Championship.

Preps.com will continue to keep you updated throughout the season on the Buckeyes and other programs in the region.
