Finestpreps.com goes back to the New Jersey powerhouse St. Peters Prep to unveil the commitment of Brandon Napoleon a dual threat quarterback who will be a second generation Mountaineer. Napoleon’s father attended WVU and also played for the football program and was thrilled and honored to see his son commit to the Mountaineers.
With signal caller Geno Smith destine for success Napoleon looks to follow in his footsteps when he enrolls to WVU Fall of 2012. Napoleon has a rare blend of speed and elusiveness along with a natural pocket presence that will allow him to thrive in the WVU system under new Head Coach Dana Holgersen.
Napoleon made his commitment as an athlete and understands his calling may be on the defensive side of the ball where he shows dynamic footwork and ball skills. As his highlight tape below showcases, Napoleon has the ability to shine on both the defensive and offensive side of the ball which should make for an interesting 4 year career for the Mountaineers. Many Dual threat quarterbacks make the easy transition to the defensive side of the ball due to the strong understanding of offensive strategies and philosophies.
Napoleon has many similarities to Wisconsin commit Reggie Mitchell. Look for both of these signal callers to have an immediate impact on the defensive side of the ball for there respective schools.
