Offers Piling Up for Quips

With college coaches making their rounds during the evaluation period, you know that Beaver County is always in their travel plans. You can’t go to Beaver County or Western Pennsylvania and not make a stop at Aliquippa.
The recruiting world knows by now that Aliquippa (PA) do-it-all athlete, Dravon Henry, is highly regarded. He has 30-plus verbal scholarship offers and college coaches from across the nation coming into Beaver County to get a peek at him.
UCLA defensive coordinator, Lou Spanos, gave an offer to Henry last week. Schools have been recruiting the versatile Henry as a Running Back, Cornerback, Safety, or just as an athlete in general. The Bruins were the latest to offer Henry.
Defensive Tackle Jaleel Fields most recently has received offers from West Virginia, Grambling State and Kent State over the past week. He now has a total of eight verbal offers.
Running Back Terry Swanson is now up to four offers, as James Madison gave him an offer on Thursday. Swanson, like Henry is a versatile athlete and some teams like him as a Safety.
Linebacker/Athlete Donovan Cobb picked up his first offer on Wednesday. Grambling State defensive coordinator and former Pittsburgh Steelers linebacker Dennis “Dirt” Winston is handling the recruiting in Western Pennsylvania.
