Finestpreps.com has to speak on one of the most highly touted receivers in the country. This matchup nightmare is unstoppable with his rare size and athletic ability.
At a towering 6’5” and 220 lbs., Ricky Seals-Jones, aka RSJ, fits the billing of a manchild. Only a handful of receivers have the kind of size and playmaking ability RSJ showcases. The class of 2013 stud is topping the charts as the #2 ranked receiver in the country according to Scout.com and will be throwing up the Longhorns.
As far as ability, this gifted athlete shows great top end speed and agility that can break down opposing defenders making them look silly. His athleticism is special for anyone, let alone an athlete his stature.
RSJ started at QB this past season, simply because his coach said he was the best athlete on the field – and meant it. The kid is a difference maker that can take it to the crib at will. When he did take snaps as a receiver, he made it very clear why he’s considered one of the nation’s big dogs.
This is Carter Brewington, the newest writer for Finestpreps.com/blog, here to keep you up on the best talent out there.
Below is RSJ’s Junior year highlight tape
