Finestpreps.com revisits one of our favorite players in the state of Pennsylvania. This versatile athlete has began to hit the camp circuit looking to receive his last star.
Tyler Boyd has accomplished pretty much everything you can as a pennsylvania high school football player. Over his whole football career Tyler Boyd has separated himself from the pack. When standout running back Karvonn Coles went down with a major knee injury Coach Nola wasn’t concerned, because he knew he had nothing to worry about. Boyd took over the reigns at running back and proved why he is considered by many to be the best player in the state of Pennsylvania.
What separates Boyd from other players in the state and country is his ability to play almost every position on the field at a high level. Tyler is the definition of a natural athlete and if you don’t believe it go watch him play basketball or baseball. Tyler recently showed up at a Rivals/VTO camp 2 hours late without stretching and immediately became the talk of the camp within minutes. Tyler wants to play wide receiver at the next level, but many think he has the potential to be a NFL safety. Boyd has also whispered that he may be interested in playing both sides of the ball similar to Charles Woodson.
Whatever BCS school lands Tyler will be fortunate to have a player that may not only be their best receiver, but also their best running back and defensive back. Look for Boyd to continue to hit the camp circuit and eventually earn his 5th star.
