CLEEZY’S EXTRA POINTS
HUMAN HIGHLIGHTS: DeShaun Watson and Will Grier
DeShaun Watson and Will Grier posted some of the more staggering offensive numbers in the nation in 2012.
Watson 2012 statistics: 4,311 passing yards, 50 passing touchdowns, 1,444 rushing yards and 24 rushing touchdowns.
Grier’s 2012 statistics: 5,785 yards passing, 69 passing touchdowns, 813 yards rushing and 8 rushing touchdowns.
Both quarterbacks can obviously throw the ball very well. They both have great speed at their size which makes them a true dual-threat at the quarterback position. They are the odds-on favorites to come out of the Elite 11 as the winner.
LOTS OF TALENT
Even though various scouting services may disagree on who is the top dog, it’s no doubt, there’s very good quarterbacks participating in this event. There are several good quarterbacks across the nation that unfortunately did not make the cut and that says a lot for those that did. Andrew Ford (PA) is the lone representative from the Northeast. California has the most representatives with 5. Only one out of the fourteen quarterbacks participating has not committed to a college as of yet.
Below is a highlight video featuring all of the quarterbacks in this event. Go to Student Sports for more information on the event.
