PREPS recently caught up with 2015 New Jersey linebacker Sterling Sheffield to talk to him about his visit to West Virginia this past weekend. Sheffield, a 6’2″, 215 linebacker, said he had a great time during his visit to West Virginia.
“It was great”, Sheffield said. “I just love the atmosphere, the stadium, and the fans.”
Sheffield has also been invited to camp at West Virginia in the future. The Mountaineers, according to Sheffield, like several things about him. “They like how explosive I am off the line and they like my versatility”, said Sheffield.
Along with West Virginia, the 6’2″, 220 pound Sheffield is also getting interest from Temple and Rutgers. He plans on visiting Rutgers on March 8th. Sheffield is also a part of the New Level Greats 7v7 traveling team out of New Jersey.
