It was a matter of time before Bishop McDevitt running back Andre Robinson would reach double-digits in regards to football scholarship offers. When we last spoke with him, Robinson had eight offers (Boston College, Maryland, Northwestern, Penn State, Pittsburgh, Rutgers, Syracuse, and Virginia Tech). In the past few days, he’s been offered by two more Big Ten teams: Michigan State and Ohio State. It’s safe to say that Robinson’s recruitment has gone up several notches. Robinson had a few things to stay about each school.
On Michigan State: “Their offensive coordinator (Dave Werner) came into my school today. I know they run the ball alot and they use a fullback in their offense which I like.”
On Ohio State: “Ohio State is definitely presitigous. The program has a lot of history. I like Coach Johnson (Larry Johnson, former Penn State defensive line coach) and I think Coach (Urban) Meyer is a good coach. I look forward to getting to know him”.
