Over this past weekend, several members of the Bishop McDevitt (Harrisburg, PA) football team were in attendance at Purdue University for their invite-only Junior Day for prospective recruits. One of those players, wide receiver Tyrone Gibson, talked with us about his visit.
“They liked how I can move around the field position-wise and that they’re looking at me as a defensive back”, said Gibson. “I let them know that I could play wide receiver and running back as well.”
Gibson caught 37 catches for 503 yards and 5 touchdowns to go with 25 tackles during the 2013 season. Gibson also went on an unofficial to the University of Pittsburgh as well over the weekend. Check out his 2013 season highlight video.
