Some may think the title of this blog is over the top, but it really isn’t.  Wide Receiver Brandon Kuntz of Trinity High School (PA) has been on a serious hot streak since his team’s first scrimmage.  During his team’s first two scrimmages in 2013, the 6’5″, 200 pound athlete scored five receiving touchdowns.  That was just a taste of what was to come in the first two games.

Kuntz caught 11 catches for 221 yards and 3 touchdowns in his first game of 2013 and caught 6 passes for 176 yards and 3 touchdowns in his second game.  You do the math.  He’s currently Pennsylvania’s leading receiver in catches, yards, and touchdowns.

You may ask why he is under the radar.  He didn’t really get the ball much during the 2012 season and didn’t do the camp circuit. However, the kid can flat out play.  He’s bigger, faster, and more athletic than most high school defensive backs. Kuntz also plays basketball and stars in track and field.  So the speed and footwork are there as well.

He’s currently being looked at by West Virginia, Maryland, UConn, and Temple. I’m not sure what some of these colleges are waiting for, but they’ll look very smart by pulling the trigger on an offer for Kuntz.

Below are his two-game highlights from the 2013 season.
