Chase Yocum showed he was one of the best dual-threat quarterbacks in Central Pennsylvania during the 2013 season.  The 6’0”, 190 pound quarterback had the challenge of following in the footsteps of his older brother, Kyle Yocum , who also played quarterback for Exeter High School in Pennsylvania.  While the older Yocum brother now plays quarterback for the University of Delaware, there is no doubt that some of the swagger Kyle had has definitely rubbed off on his younger brother Chase.

Yocum showed that he could do it with his hands and his feet during his successful junior campaign in 2013.  He passed for 1,095 yards and 8 touchdowns while running for 878 yards and 18 touchdowns on the ground.  Yocum’s speed and quickness at the quarterback position is what makes him a dangerous player.   He ran for a season high 205 yards and three touchdowns during a late-season game against Pottsville.  Yocum may not be called upon to throw more than 15-20 times a game, but he’s good enough to make plays with his arm as well as his legs.  Yocum is fearless and has enough tools to build upon as he works on making himself a college prospect.

Check out some of his highlights from his 2013 season.
