Does SaQuon Barkley’s Flip To Penn State Change Anything for Fellow RB Target Andre Robinson?

The big news for today for Penn State fans had to do with one-tie Rutgers commit, running back SaQuon Barkley, switching his commitment to Penn State. The 2015 running back from New Jersey flipped just a few days after attending Penn State’s first Junior Day. Barkley is one of several high-profile Pennsylvania backs that Penn State has offered. One of the other backs, and arguably the best in the state, is Bishop McDevitt’s Andre Robinson.
Preps contacted him earlier in the evening to see what his take was on the news. “I didn’t even know that (Barkley flipping), said Robinson. As far as whether or not that would effect how he would rank Penn State in the recruiting progress, it doesn’t seem to be an issue at all. “I know I’m going to have to compete wherever I go”, Robinson said. “So that’s not much of a big deal to me.”
Robinson has plans for visits in the upcoming months, including a trip out to the West Coast at some point to visit some schools.
