Wisconsin v Minnesota

Preps.com has learned that Harrisburg High School Running Back Rob Martin has received his 16th offer from the University of Minnesota.  Minnesota stopped by the school earlier today to check out Martin and talk with Cal Everett, head coach of the Harrisburg Cougars.

Things were expected to heat up for running back Robert Martin out of Harrisburg H.S. (PA) once the evaluation period started.

Martin rushed for 1,812 yards and 18 rushing touchdowns in 2012 after getting very limited carries during his first four games.  Martin also holds offers from Illinois, Arizona, Connecticut, Purdue, Georgia Tech, Massachusetts, Old Dominion, Rutgers, Temple, Toledo, and West Virginia .  Martin is a football player, simply put.  He plays linebacker for the Cougars as well and is also getting looked at for that position as well.  A 2,000 yard season in 2013 could be in the works for Martin.
