Philadelphia’s most highly recruited football player in the class of 2014 finally put his recruitment to rest by announcing that he would be continuing his football career at Arizona State University via his twitter account.  Scott had over thirty offers, but you would not know it by the low-key approach that Scott has taken throughout his whole recruiting process.  Scott talked about his decision with Aaron Carter in an article posted online today at philly.com.

Scott has excelled on both sides of the ball, despite playing in an offense that spreads around touches of the football.   But it’s his defensive prowess that most of the big-time programs that were recruiting him (Miami, Nebraska, and South Carolina to name a few) to play defensive back.  Scott is the complete package. He’s fast, has great footwork, excellent closing speed, hits hard, and has a ton of heart.  Scott is listed at 5’10”, 180 pounds, but he plays much bigger than his size. Stats don’t begin to tell the story as fas as the impact makes for Imhotep’s football team.

Check out some of his 2013 season highlights.
