Susquehanna Township football player Jared Folks was relatively unknown to most people outside of his coaches and Central Pennsylvania up until a week ago. Folks had a standout junior season in 2012, but he still wasn’t on the radar and had no offers. Things have dramatically changed in the past week. After attending a few camps and being visited by several college coaches, Folks has been offered by: Temple, Massachusetts, and Buffalo. Folks is a 6’2”, 220 pound defensive end for the Indians who at times was unblockable during the 2012 season. Folks also attended the Penn State Advanced Skills camp this past weekend ,and expects his recruitment to pick up even more. When asked about the amount of offers he’s received in the past week, Folks said “Yes, it’s been crazy. I just want to work harder and get more offers”.
