WPIAL Student Section Power Rankings

1) North Hills: North Hills’ student section has been featured on the news, been on the Post-Gazette, and has been talked about on several famous blogs such as Mark Madden’s. Whether it’s parting the Red Sea, having hilarious signs, or making Face-Cut outs, the Indians have a die-hard student section that gets rowdy every Friday night.
2) Moon: Moon’s student section is absolutely huge. You also have to give credit to them for getting the entire student section in theme. The Parkway conference is always a rough schedule, but away teams coming in have to feel intimidated when they set foot on the field.
3) Thomas Jefferson: #TheJungle is by far the rowdiest student section in the WPIAL. Friday nights in TJ really are something special. One the American flags get going you know the Jaguars mean business. TJ slipped a bit in the rankings because they can be a little too rowdy. TJ would be #1 but racial slurs to other teams are never cool, but regardless, TJ still has one of the best student sections in the WPIAL.
4) Central Valley: The Lyons Den is something great. They have a good amount of student in the section but the Warrior’s student section made the list for having the most creative chants. Whether it’s taking shots at other team’s players (nothing personal of course) or thanking “Based God”, CV has a great bunch of students on their hands.
5) Pine Richland: Innovators. The Rams student section is the first to bust out the speakers and blast music during games. They also put up good numbers. Credit has to be given to them for the speakers.
Shoutouts: #TheWell for using powder, USC for always filling their stands, Central Catholic and Kiski for traveling well to away games, Mt. Pleasant for having a good showing despite being a AA team, and Seton La-Salle, if Seton gets a huge crowd and stays rowdy we’ll make an appearance in their student section and put them in the top 5.
