PJ Fulmore Miami

Preps.com Recently spoke with 2015 Prospect PJ Fulmore of North Catholic regarding his recent camp visit to the University of Miami.

When watching North Catholic star PJ Fulmore perform on field drills this summer it’s hard to believe that PJ has only just finished his Sophomore year of high school. Watching Fulmore perform is always a treat to watch, his elusiveness and speed complement each other in ways that will make your jaw drop. Some may raise concern regarding Fulmore’s height to be a factor with his potential to play at a high collegiate level. They also raised the same concern about former WVU star and recent First round NFL draft pick Tavon Austin. Austin and Fulmore share many of the same qualities when it comes to their playing styles.

Fulmore who has always been a long time fan of The University of Miami said he enjoyed the experience he had down in Coral Gables, he also enjoyed the campus itself but did not get a chance to fully visit all football facilities on campus.

Fulmore has been dealing with a minor groin injury this off season, but that did not slow him down at the camp. Fulmore’s elusiveness and ability get off the line of scrimage and get open impressed Miami coaches. PJ was moved up into the first group of players and still continued to get open play after play.

When asking PJ about the level of talent down at the camp he had this to say; “There’s alot of hype about players in Florida and in the South being better, but I honestly feel that their is just as much talent or even more here in PA.” Fulmore who is a standout on the Western PA Swag team has played against the best PA has to offer, and as of just a couple weeks ago the best in the state of Florida. Pj continues to shine wherever he goes and is already one of the top players in PA as a junior.
