Finestpreps.com Has been keeping an eye on Deland running back Jojo Kemp for quite some time now. With National Signing Day literally just around the corner Kemp’s recent commitment to the University of Kentucky seems to be his final decision.

Coming into his senior campaign Kemp was a bit of an underrated recruit as far as I was concerned. But after a dominate final senior push rushing for over 1,400 yards and 23 TD’s he climbed the ranks of the recruiting world. According to ESPN Kemp finished as a 4-Star recruit and with just about two dozen Scholarship offers.

Kemp originally committed to the University of South Florida in June 2012, but after Head Coach Skip Holtz was fired from the South Florida program Kemp decided to once again open up his recruitment. For the past couple of weeks he had narrowed his decision back down to Kentucky, WVU, Tennessee, Pitt and USF. But Kemp wants that ultimate test of playing in the Nation’s top conference, the SEC! After recently speaking to Kemp about his commitment he said the environment down at Kentucky is what really sold him on the Wildcats. We wish Jojo the best of luck on his career at Kentucky.
