FinestPreps.com has promised to deliver top-notch coverage of not only the top football prospects in America but top basketball prospects as well.

Who’s the second basketball player to grace the FinestPreps.com blog?

That would be none other than Gateway’s (Monroeville, Pa.) star point guard Tyler Scott (pictured above on left).

Scott, a 6’5, 180 pound guard, is blessed with an impressive highlight tape below.

He displays the ability to put the ball on the floor and throw it down with authority.

Several different plays throughout his highlight package–Scott barrels down the lane and slams the basketball home for an emphatic jam.

The gifted guard also displays a soft shooting touch beyond-the-arc.

He and Barnett Harris were huge keys in leading Gateway’s basketball team to a 23-5 overall record last season.

As a junior, Scott stuffed the stat sheet with impressive numbers–20.3 ppg, 2.4 apg, and 6.4 rpg.

Not suprisingly–Scott has attracted the attention of several Division I-A college basketball coaches.

He currently boasts scholarship offers from the likes of Cleveland State, Dayton, Duquesne, James Madison, and Kent State.
