The Chesapeake Bowl is one of the top high school football all-star games in the country–bringing together top football players from Maryland, DC, Virginia, West Virginia, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and Delaware.

Earn Your Way in the 2011 Chesapeake Bowl

The Mid Atlantic Football Foundation is proud to release our Chesapeake Bowl Evaluation and Selection Camp schedule. Each camp will provide it’s participants with an opportunity to further their development as a player as well as provide exposure through various recruiting outlets including FinestPreps, Scout, Rivals and ESPN. In addition, players have the opportunity to earn their way into the Chesapeake Bowl All-Star Game. The Chesapeake Bowl All-Star Game has the best players from Pennsylvania, New Jersey and Delaware competing against the best players from Maryland, Virginia, DC, and West Virginia.

We are excited to announce that Terry Smith, former Penn State standout and current Head Coach of Gateway High School (Monroeville, PA), is our new Camp Director. Coach Smith is widely regarded as one of the top high school football coaches in the country. Coach Smith has been selected as a coach for several of the top All-Star football games including the U.S. Army All-American Bowl, Big 33 Football Classic and served as Head Coach of the North Team last year for our inaugural Chesapeake Bowl. He has also served as Camp Director for Scout.com. Coach Smith and his staff will provide the very best instruction to our players as they our dedicated to help each player achieve their highest potential.

Evaluation Camp

The Chesapeake Bowl Evaluation Camp is open to any 2012 prospect. Players will be coached by former NFL players, college coaches and top area high school coaches committed to the development of each participant. In addition, the top performers will be invited to participate in the Chesapeake Bowl Selection Camp for their respective region. The top 25 performers at the Selection Camp will be selected to play in the game.

Selection Camp

The Chesapeake Bowl Selection Camp is a 2012 prospect invite only camp. Players can earn an invite through their performance at an Evaluation Camp. Players can also be nominated. Any player that paid for and participated in an Evaluation Camp that is invited to the Selection Camp may deduct the Evaluation Camp fee from the cost of the Selection Camp. Players will be coached by former NFL players, college coaches and top area high school coaches committed to the development of each participant. The top 25 performers at the Selection Camp will be selected to play in the game.
