We’ve already unveiled a number of talented players in the 2012 recruiting class from the state of Pennsylvania.
Today, we’re here to unveil a remarkbly gifted leaper–athlete B.J. Lipke out of Cornell Senior High School (Coraopolis, Pa.)
Lipke, a member of the 2012 recruiting class, put up staggering numbers last season as a junior for Cornell.
As a junior, the 6’2, 190 pounder snagged 11 catches for 362 yards and six touchdowns.
Where he displayed his true dominance was on the defensive side of the ball–he racked up 15 sacks for Cornell from his defensive end position.
His oustanding leaping ability allows him to be highly disruptive in passing lanes.
It also allows him to outjump opposing corners when locating the football at its highest point.
Lipke also uses his height and leaping ability to help him block punts on special teams (pictured above).
A gifted basketball player as well, Lipke currently plays basketball for the Lincoln Park School for the Performing Arts–a charter school.
As a junior, he averaged nine points and nine rebounds a game for Lincoln Park.
Even though he currently doesn’t have any scholarship offers–the gifted athlete is drawing interest from schools such as Kent State, Akron, Pitt, Wisconsin, Duke, and Michigan.
Look for interest in the talented athlete to heat up as time passes!
