FinestPreps.com is gonna keep crankin’ em out like R. Kelly cranks out rap hits–we never stop!

We’ve got another profile for you on a talented member of the class of 2012.

He happens to hail from the Keystone State as well and he also happens to suit up for the Gateway Gators (Monroeville, Pa.)!

Who’s the latest gridiron stud from the state of Pennsylvania to land on FinestPreps.com?

That would be defensive back Brian “Juice” Jones–a remarkably gifted playmaker once the football is in his hands.

Perhaps the most impressive play on his highlight tape comes at the very beginning of it.

He’s trailing the play and in pursuit of the football when his teammates strip the ball from an opposing running back.

The ball pops out into the air and Jones snatches it at the 38 yard line.

The gifted defensive back then looks for daylight–the only problem is that he’s immediately met by a defender.

Not so fast–says Jones who shakes the defender up with a few ankle-breaking moves and freezes the opposing player in his tracks.

He then slices his way through a narrow gap between two players before he finds open space down the left sideline.

From then on out it’s smooth sailing for Jones–who turns on the burners and cruises to a 62 yard touchdown.

As a defensive back–Jones has excellent instincts and seems quite comfortable when the football is in the air.

He’s excellent at breaking passes up and making sure the receiver doesn’t have a chance to make a play on the ball.

Even though he’s listed at 5’9, 180 pounds, Jones uses his outstanding vertical jump to allow him to break up passes in jump ball situations.

The talented corner had four passes defended last year and recovered two fumbles as well.

He also racked up 25 tackles on defense for the Gators.

As a receiver for Gateway–Jones shows a strong affinity for the bubble screen pass play in his highlights–he loves getting the ball in space because it allows him to use his speed and agility to make a play.

He hauled in 16 catches for 230 yards and two touchdowns last season for the Gators.

Jones is blessed with outstanding agility in the open field and you won’t find too many players that can stop on a dime the way he can.

It’s easy to see on a number of plays in his highlight tape below.

On the ground–he rushed for 63 yards on 15 carries (4.2 yards per carry).

His profile page on Rivals.com does not currently list any scholarship offers from any schools but look for the recruiting process to heat up for the talented playmaker sometime in the future!
