FinestPreps has promised to hit you with some of the nation’s top talent!
We search far and wide for the latest and greatest football players of the high school gridiron!
Today our very own Brian Vornberg is taking look at a class of 2012 prospect who slices and dices up opposing defenses with ease.
This talented running back hails from North Carolina and is without a doubt one of the top running back prospects in his class.
Who are we talking about?
Check out Brian’s report below!
Name: Keith Marshall
Position: Running Back
Weight: 190 lbs.
High School: Millbrook High School
Hometown: Raleigh, North Carolina
Millbrook High School’s (Raleigh, North Carolina) sensational running back Keith Marshall is one to look out for in the class of 2012.
This passionate back has over 20 major scholarship offers and has already accepted an invitation to next year’s Under Armour All-American Game.
Marshall possesses the cutting ability, quickness, burst and breakaway speed of a future All-American, but more importantly holds a GPA of over 4.0 and stands out just as much academically as he does athletically.
He relies largely on this intelligence and vision to find the open seams in a defense.
Then he uses natural athleticism to make defenders miss and burst into the open field. If this guy is allowed to get to the edge, WATCH OUT!!
That’s no lightning, it’s simply Keith Marshall.
His foot quickness and open field moves are undeniable, his spin move is absolutely ludicrous, but Marshall also has surprising strength and toughness for his size.
Never have I seen such elite change of direction ability in a high school back as Marshall shows.
His enthusiasm is both electric and contagious.
He plays with so much energy that he almost seems erratic at times, but trust that Keith Marshall always knows exactly where he is headed, both on and off the field.
In 10 games as a sophomore, Marshall rushed for 1,166 yards (116.6 yards per game) and hauled in 12 catches for 238 receiving yards and two touchdowns.
