FinestPreps.com has promised to deliver some of the top coverage of the NFL Draft and we will not disappoint!
Sure, the 2011 version of football nirvana is in the books but here at FinestPreps.com it’s never too early to start breaking down the future stars of the NFL!
Brian Vornberg is back once again with some excellent analysis.
Today he’s taking a look at Florida State’s “heat-seeking missile” of a linebacker in Nigel Bradham.
Here’s his report below.
An artist might as well have just carved Florida State linebacker Nigel Bradham out of stone.
Bradham looks like an NFL player already.
While Bradham may not be an exceptional playmaker, he’s athletic enough and has the consistency and mentality to make it at the NFL level.
Versatility is a word that defines Bradham.
He can just as easily rush the quarterback as he can make a tackle in space or even cover a running back coming into the flat for a pass.
Bradham will not play flashy but he’s been playing a big role in the Seminole defense since he was a freshman.
He’s proven to be ultra consistent as well.
As a junior in 2010, he racked up 97 tackles, with 5.5 tackles for loss. He also displayed the ability to pressure the quarterback, adding five sacks, five pass breakups, and even blocking a kick!
Bradham will not blow up the NFL Combine in 2012 with his numbers but he’s got good size for the position and will contribute immediately on special teams.
His work ethic on and off-the-field alone earn him a spot in next year’s 2012 NFL Draft.
