FinestPreps.com has promised to deliver you some of the top NFL Draft coverage and today we’re at it again.

NFL Draft writer Brian Vornberg is back again with some top notch analysis for you!

Who’s the latest prospect he’s excited about?

That would be a legendary Michigan State Spartan linebacker who established himself as one of the premiere players in all of college football the past four seasons.

Check below to see what Brian has to say about Greg Jones.

Greg Jones–LB–Michigan State–6’0″ 242 lbs.
This defensive captain of the Spartans was one of the most ultra productive players at his position in recent memory.  Jones finished his career at Michigan State with 465 tackles in four years. Jones is a violent, wrap-up tackler with great technique and plays his best when he can see everything in front of him from his middle linebacker spot. Jones is physical and aggressive when attacking the line of scrimmage or chasing down the QB,sometimes even too aggressive. Jones has superman strength and adequate speed, but his most telling statistics are his three All-Big Ten selections and two All-American selections. He is a perfect example of high production at the collegiate level getting overlooked because of only decent measurables. Durability and effort level will never be issues with Jones as he plays with a really high motor and has never missed a full game due to injury. He could stand to be a little more fluid and improve his coverage skills, but overall he definitely has the potential to be an electric performer and leader at the next level. His leadership and on-field production throughout his collegiate career speak for itself.
Reminds me of: Aaron Curry–LB–Seattle Seahawks
